Financial advisors are signaling unprecedented confidence in cryptocurrency's growth trajectory. A Bitwise/VettaFi survey reveals nearly all advisors who allocated to digital assets in 2025 intend to maintain or expand positions in 2026—marking a paradigm shift from speculative gambling to portfolio-grade asset.

The eighth annual benchmark study shows 32% of advisors now invest in crypto for clients, a 10-point jump from 2024. More tellingly, 64% of these portfolios allocate over 2% to digital assets, up from 51% last year—quantifiable proof of institutional acceptance.

Behind the numbers lies a broader transformation: 56% of advisors now personally hold crypto, suggesting conviction extends beyond professional mandates. The data paints a clear picture—what began as fringe speculation has matured into strategic portfolio construction.
